There are three steps to the team registration.
Before starting a High Dive Champions practice, all divers/parents are required to:
1. Agree and sign the Participation Agreement & Waiver. Click download button above. (Rules and policies are detailed in this download) Waivers are also available at the pool from Coach Darland.
Mail this signed form to Coach Darland with your check or bring to your first practice.
2. Mail check payable to High Dive Champions. (Important: Include planned practice days and time slot in memo section). Also mail Signed Waiver & Agreement Form to:

The regular "on time" rates (due one week before the start date of a session) are:
$850 for the Unlimited Plan (Multiple days a week, you pick the days except Sundays)
$650 for the Limited Plan (One day a week, you pick the day except for Sundays).
Sibling rate $1,200 for 2, $1,300 for 3.
$100 additional is required if payment is received after the due date.
3. Register with AAU & U.S. Diving. (These governing bodies provide secondary insurance and are required by Purchase College before you can use the facility.)
This step is available to complete.
A. To register with AAU log on to http://aausports.org
At the AAU website follow these steps: Click on Join AAU, Click on Athlete Category. Fill out all required ranges including Program - Choose Youth Membership, Fee - Choose Added Benefit ($14.00), Sport - Choose Di-Diving, AAU Club Name - High Dive Champions, Club Code - Type WYD939 After payment, print out copy of your AAU membership and a copy for Coach Darland.
B. To register with U.S. Diving, log on to http://www.teamusa.org/USA-Diving
At the U.S. Diving website follow these steps: Click on Join USA Diving.
Follow the prompts for Athlete Memberships and Competitive Blue Membership($20).
Advanced Team members, who will dive in the Regional Championships, need to join or renew your Competitive Gold Membership ($75).
At the prompts you will need to choose Southern New York for Association, High Dive Champions (HDC) for team and Mike Darland for Coach. If these options are not available, do not proceed. Call U.S. Diving for help.
After payment, print out copy of your U.S. Diving membership card and a copy for Coach Darland.
Bring copies to your first practice.
TEAM LEVELS
Novice - Limited or No Diving Experience
Intermediate – Can perform 5 different dives
Advanced, Junior Olympic (Competes on 1 and 3 meter)
National Team - Has a full J.O. list on 1 and 3-meter, and travels to all major U.S. Diving and AAU diving meets with our team.
TEAM TIMES- Note: This session we will offer spots to all level divers during both time slots. That is to say, we will have a Beginner group, an Intermediate group and and Advanced group all with their own separate coach in each of the two time slots. However, due to Covid, divers need to commit to one time slot for the entire session. That is to say, you cannot come to the early time slot on some days and the late time slot on other days.
Early Time Slot -
Monday through Thursday 4:00pm- 5:30pm (Arrive at 3:45)
Fridays 4:30pm-6:00pm (Arrive at 4:15)
Saturday 12:30-2:00pm (Arrive at 12:15)
Late Time Slot -
Monday through Thursday 5:30pm-7:00pm (Arrive at 5:00)
Fridays 4:30pm-6:00pm (Arrive at 4:00)
Saturday 2:00pm-3:30 pm
Please arrive at practice on a timely basis. We will need to transition groups in a safe manner with masks on. Also, please remind your diver to have their temperature taken upon arrival before they interact with others. Coaches and monitors will be reinforcing this with divers also.
Important: Due to COVID, classes will also need to be strictly capped. Therefore, only so many spots are available for each time slot. Spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis and will be secured only when payment is received. Payment for the session is due one week in advance of the first day of the session .
