Diving in Meets
There are some important things to know about diving in diving meets.
1. Diving in meets are an important part of our sport. As team owner and head coach I encourage, but do not require meet participation.
2. Diving meets are fun! As a former diver of two Olympic coaches,
I loved diving meets. While it is more fun to win or do well in diving meets, just like competition of any kind, they are great learning experiences.
3. High Dive Champion coaches will provide the positive lessons to be learned in a diving meet to our divers.
4. It is natural for most beginner divers to be apprehensive or fearful of their first diving meet. We are trained to get them through this and to provide the help for this to be a very positive experience.
